The PNAGKC Christmas Party held last December 14, 1996 at the Lakewood Country Club was well attended. Special guests were the participants of the much awaited 1997 Medical Mission to Gapan, Nueva Ecija. To some guests, finding the place presented a challenge. However, those who persisted were rewarded by the sumptuous dinner of lechon and other Filipino delicacies served. The children, as well as the adults, had fun with the games. Thanks to the social committee for a job well done.

The highlight of the night was the induction of the new PNAGKC officers. Although it lacked the usual ceremony and the speeches common to an inaugural affair, it accomplished its purpose. Irma Labre-Wright, the outgoing president, gave a brief message and presented the newly elected officers for 1997-1999. Dr. Ric Labayen graced the occasion with the induction of the officers. Sonia Tumanut, the new president, delighted the crowd with her funny anecdotes during her acceptance speech. The PNAGKC has gained its momentum during the past years. With continued cooperation, unity, and renewed commitment among its officers and members, PNAGKC will move along. To our new officers, a salute and WELCOME!
