PNAGKC's 7th Annual Dinner Dance A Success!

Through the years, the PNAGKC has proven that our nurses do not only excel in their profession but know how to entertain and have fun as well! Our 7th Annual Dinner Dance Celebration last April 18, 1998 held at the Harrahs’s Hotel was a huge success. Thanks to the Social Committee, chairperson, Jojie Villarante and members, Marilyn Moyo, Arvin Figueroa, Vicky Herrera, Joy Doolin, Sonia Tumanut, Emilie Turalba and Irma Labre.
Special awards were given to the 1997 Nurse of the Year, Joy Doolin, To Dr. Denys Collins, for his outstanding support to PNAGKC, and to the top ten men (Bong Tumanut, Jun Rivera, Ernie Rosas, Ed Alcazaren, Rod Herrera, Edwin Penaloza, Rizvend Pecana, Edwin Umali, Joe Laoruangroch, and Ed Tumanut ), for their participation and involvement with the varied activities of the PNAGKC. Ernie Rosas- President elect also presented Sonia Tumanut, for a job well done, for unparalleled leadership and her unselfish dedication to the PNAGKC.
Year after year, the members of the PNAGKC and their supporters (mostly spouses) have performed and entertained guests with their spectacular acting, dancing and singing abilities. That particular evening, a special choir presented a sensational rendition of “Somewhere” and a Filipino song “Pipit." In addition, our very own thespians delivered an impressive comedy play based on a cleverly combined episodes of ER, Judgment Day, First Wives Club and Sister Act. Although the play was a titanic hit, it did not earn millions of dollars but rather millions of roaring laughter from the audience.
Tried and true, with PNAGKC and teamwork, we can do anything. We are blessed with members with unsurpassed commitment to the association and who motivate and inspire one other to do their best and have fun while doing it! Our members face any challenge as a team and work as a team.With this powerful concoction, who can fail?
To all of us who believes and supports PNAGKC, its mission, goals and aspirations; to all of us who made our 7th dinner dance another night to remember... Congratulations and Thank you!
