Last week, someone asked me if I was ready for the holidays !!! I’m not! Are you? But ready or not, we all know, that another golden-baked stuffed turkey will soon be carved and served with yams and all the trimming in observance of Thanksgiving. When we celebrate this tradition of prosperity, we also pause to deliberate and give thanks for our blessings despite life’s many harsh realities.

And coming just around the corner, is Christmas!!!From the blinding dazzle of colorful lights that illuminates winter’s darkest hour, to the nostalgic sentiments of carols, Christmas have the power to radiate hope and restore battered spirits. It is a time for retrospection as well as it is the season for revival of our goals and aspirations. Reflecting on our past year’s achievements, PNAGKC have accomplished the objectives we have set for 1997. Through the leadership of our focused and fearless leader, Sonia Tumanut, and to our committed officers and supportive members, PNAGKC have once more validated and substantiated our impact and influence to one another and to our community.

I know, I can only be ready as I can be for the holidays, but I am looking forward the year 1998. And as we continue this journey together, we must pursue to strengthen and uphold the tradition of PNAGK, through our mission of fellowship, compassion and the pursuit of professional and personal excellence !

Have a peaceful and joyful holiday season!
