Tanglaw Fall 1998

EDITORIAL When I accepted the position as editor two years ago, I suffered a severe case of "anxietinities" the menacing limbo of uncertainties! With a growing and demanding family and a full time job, I was not sure if I can find the time to do the job; nor if I could continue to uphold Tanglaw’s prestige? I accepted the challenge because there was only one way to find out ... And that is to give it my best shot and to just do it ! True to my expectations, this position has challenged me to far greater heights than just mere writing . But these obstacles became instrumental for my learning and growth and enhanced my appreciation for the diversified talents of the editorial staff. Their committed participation is fundamental to Tanglaw’s continuance and progression. Without their support and assistance, my duty would have been an extremely difficult task! It has been fun and greatly rewarding to be of service to you and to the association as editor, but I believe that it is time for me to step aside and give someone else the chance to share his/her talents. Could this be you? And why not? ..Let this be an invitation as well as a challenge. Dare to discover what you can do; it is the principle of growth . Join the Tanglaw staff !
