Don't be Stressed this Christmas!
Remember that you are not perfect, not at Christmas time or any other time. Concentrate on the joyful reunion instead of spotless dishes Ask for help. Your family can do a lot. Hire help if affordable. Don't cook everything from scratch. Even store bought dishes are delicious Plan, cook and freeze what can be done ahead of time. Recruit help in the kitchen that day. Have a good night sleep the night before your guests arrive. Allow plenty of time to have your house ready for the guests and ask your family to do it..not you. Buy gifts within budget. Discourage complaints by buying reasonably prized gift certificates Don't force an old tradition that is outdated and appreciated nor expect everyone to get along. Respect goes a long way Play joyful music to discourage sour mood Remember you can't please everyone, so smile, relax, enjoy your holiday!
